Better!

Justus threw up last @ ~12:3am.

We went ahead and drove to Issac's wedding (as was planned) and Justus stayed home with Nana. Lena and KJ came over and got Justus hamburgers and fries. He didn't eat much but seemed to get progressively better throughout the day.

Had some gas and pooped.

Finally collapsed @ 7pm. We'll see how the night goes! Mother's day tomorrow.

Throwing up

Started throwing up early this morning @ about 3am.

Had urge to throw up about every hour thereafter. Was administered water upon request.

Still heaving even when only drinking water this morning.

Things Justus ate that are out of the ordinary yesterday:

From Trader Joe's:
Orange Juice (not from concentrate) - Dad had some
Sugar snap peas (washed) - Mom shared

From Fatte's Pizza: - Both Mom and Dad shared.
Hawaiian
Pepperoni with olives

Justus also had a Mother's Day lunch with mom yesterday. He ate some lunchables from the store, 1 pack of the Ritz ham type and 1 pack of Apples and yogurt. Both bought from Raleys.

Justus had a bit of Iced Tea but didn't like it and so mom drank the rest.

Coughing bad

He just woke up and is almost puking due to the fluid in his lungs. I've propped him up a bit in hopes that'll help. He still seemed pretty hot. This seems alot like the flu. I really hope everyone has been well that's seen him over the past week or so.

101.3 fever tonight

Justus has been sick since about Tuesday. At that point it was a very mild cough. Tonight it has seemed to ramp up a bit with this fever @ 101.3 just after we gave him some tylenol for the night.

He refused to take a nap today so his grogginess level before he went to bed could be due to that. I feel bad for him. Before he fell asleep he mentioned that yes, all systems were a-ok.

Just now when I was in bed with him, his forehead seemed to cool a bit.

Sleep tight lil guy.

Bit of a rash tonight

We've noticed a bit of a rash on both of Justus' arms.

We're a bit nervous that its the famous 'Amoxicillin rash'.

He seems to be acting ok, but did seem a bit tired when we picked him up from daycare.

Tonight he wanted to go to bed right away it seemed.

Sickness update

Yvonne took Justus to an Immediate Care in Paradise today to help us determine if Justus was sick with Strep.

Dr looked @ his throat and determined that it was not strep (didnt take a culture, but could evidently tell by looking @ the glands) but that he had an ear infection and that the swollen glands was related to that.

Prescribed antibiotics. For the record, Justus was acting a bit better today (seemed more energetic, less depressed) but it is still great Yvonne took him to determine. From our reading, if it was strep, he wouldn't have likely recovered on his own.
